A 40-year-old woman was raped by a man who first made her husband drunk, at their residence in Lisari Gate area, police said today.
According to the complaint filed by the woman, on July 29 the accused is a cousin of her husband who came to their house and made her husband drink. After her husband passed out, the cousin raped the woman, police said.
Pilokhadi Chowki station in-charge Satyendra Singh said a case has been registered in this regard, and the woman has been sent for medical examination.
