Woman raped by neighbour in TN village

A 21-year old woman was allegedly raped by her neighbour at a village in the district, police said today.

The woman, of Katheeranallur, was grazing her sheep in the field yesterday evening when the 23-year-old Suresh committed the crime, a police officer said.

On a complaint from the woman, Suresh was arrested and produced before a magistrate court here which remanded him to 15 days judicial custody.
