A married woman was allegedly raped
insider her house by a man in Jhandiana West village of the district, police said today.
Accused Gora Singh on finding the victim alone in her house yesterday afternoon entered the building and committed the crime, they said.
After registering a case under relevant sections of the IPC, the police got the woman medically examined at Moga civil hospital last evening, which confirmed the assault on her.
Police said that a manhunt has been launched to nab the accused, who was absconding after the crime.
