Woman's body found

Body of a woman bearing multiple wounds was found near a housing society in suburban Andheri in the early hours today, the police said.

The woman, in her 20s, has been identified, a senior Versova police station official said.

Her throat was found slit and her body had multiple injuries, he said, adding the police have registered a case of murder against her husband.

The husband was detained in Pune tonight and was being brought to Mumbai, according to the official.
