Woman sets self, children ablaze in Uttar Pradesh

A 28-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide by setting herself ablaze along with her two children in Tirusulam in Dabhaura village, the police said today.

Renu set herself ablaze along with her sons Nishant (4) and Naman (1) yesterday.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police, Joginder Singh, the father of the deceased woman has lodged a case of dowry death against her in-laws.

The husband has been arrested and investigations are on, the SSP added.
