A 55-year-old widow was shot
dead by unidentified persons in Doghat village here, police said today.
The victim, Satpalo, was working in the fields yesterday when some unidentified persons shot her dead, police said.
The body has been sent for postmortem, they said.
An FIR has been registered in the matter, police said, adding the matter is being probed.
No arrest has been made in the case so far.
