Environment Minister Harsh Vardhan today asked the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) to work out an action plan to utilise sewage from industries after its treatment.
The minister also reviewed the overall work being done by the CPCB apart from assessing the work of National River Conservation Directorate (NRCD).
"Asked the CPCB for compilation of good case studies and work out an action plan for utilisation of sewage in industries post proper treatment," Vardhan tweeted.
"The said meeting was with respect to cleaning of selected rivers and directed the concerned to work out an action plan for effectiveness," the minister said.
