A one-day workshop on the precautions to be taken by parents while marrying off their daughters to NRI grooms will be organised by Telangana State Women Commission and National Commission for Women on November 5 here.
"Telangana Women Commission and National Commission for Women will organise a one-day consultation on November 5 on how to overcome the issues related to NRI marriages and how to protect the lives of Indian girls," Tripurana Venkataratnam, chairperson, State Women Commission said at a press conference here.
She said Ministries of Home and External Affairs should actively engage with their counterparts in other countries for solving the issues of Indian women married to NRI men.
