Police on Friday detained Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik after he, along with his supporters, tried to take out a protest march towards Lal Chowk city centre here.
Malik was detained near Maisuma here as he and his supporters tried to take out a protest march towards Lal Chowk after Friday prayers, a police official said.
He said Malik was taken to police station Kothi Bagh.
