Youth arrested for eve-teasing

A youth was arrested on the charge of eve-teasing a 26-year-old girl in Bhopa road area here, police said today.

The girl was on way to her house yesterday when the accused -- Tarun Kumar -- allegedly eve-teased her, a police official said.

Kumar was beaten up by onlookers and handed over to police, he said, adding that a case has been registered against him under relevant sections of the IPC.
