Youth crushed to death by bus in UP

An 18-year-old youth was allegedly crushed to death today by a bus near Kalyanpur crossing in Amethi district here, police said.

The victim, identified as Chandra Prakash Singh (18), a resident of Manshah village was crushed to death by the rear wheel after he fell down from the bus. He was on his way home from Sultanpur, police said.

The bus has been taken into custody, police said, adding that the body has been sent for post mortem and further investigations are underway.
