Youth hacks mother to death in Bihar

A youth today allegedly hacked his 65-year-old mother to death following a quarrel at Radheshyam Nagar Chowk in the district.

Mukesh Nunia (20) allegedly attacked his mother Hemsari with a sharp weapon following a heated argument over some family matters, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Chandrika Prasad said.

The woman died on the spot due to severe injuries on her neck and other parts of the body, he said.

The accused has been arrested and the weapon was seized, Prasad said, adding the the body has been sent for post-mortem.
