Youth held for raping friend's wife

A youth was today arrested for allegedly raping his friend's wife while she was alone at her residence in Pavanpuri colony here, police said.

The 25-year-old accused identified as Milan Devda, had allegedly raped the 23-year-old wife of his close friend on March 9 after intimidating her, they said.

The woman later informed her husband about the offence.

Based on the complaint filed by the victim, police registered a case and arrested Devda on charge of rape, they said.
