Youth sentenced for raping girl

A youth has been sentenced to seven years imprisonment by a local court for abducting and raping a girl in the district in 2010.

Additional District and Sessions Judge Mohd Ali also imposed a fine of Rs 8000 on the convict Vipin Kumar after holding him guilty yesterday.

Kumar had abducted the girl and repeatedly raped her in March, 2010.
