Youth shot dead at market place

An 18-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified persons at a market place in Atraulia area, police said here today.

Dhananjay Yadav was called by some person to Budhanpur bazar where he was shot at late last evening. He succumbed to injuries at a private hospital post midnight, ASP (City), Vipin Tada, said.

A few persons have been detained for questioning, he said.
