Youth shot dead by aunt's paramour

A youth was shot dead allegedly by his aunt's paramour when he was were returning home with her on a motorbike in Ajampur village of the district, police said today.

Honey (23) and his aunt Kavita were returning home after paying obeisance at Bawa Lal Dayal mandir at Dhianpur village last night, when Vicky and his two associates shot him dead, police said.

Kavita fled with the assailants, leaving Honey on the roadside, they said.

A case has been registered against Vicky, Kavita and two unidentified persons, police said, adding that the accused are absconding.
