Youth shot dead in Gr Noida

A 21-year-old youth was shot dead by unidentified persons near Tirupti enclave, police said today.

The body of Sahil, a resident of Loni in Ghaziabad and currently residing at his uncle's house here, was recovered near the enclave under Bisrakh area last night.

Two months ago, he had eloped with a girl, a neighbour. However, the girl's parents traced them and took her back. No FIR was lodged in this connection.

Last night, Sahil received a call and left home when he was shot dead, police said.

Police suspect involvement of the girl's relatives in the youth's murder.
