Nucleus Research today said their messaging application YUP! has crossed over 1 lakh downloads.
The app is now available on the windows and iOS platforms in addition to Android and a new user interface has been added to it.
"Yup has been downloaded 1,10,000 times and is being actively used by its users," the company said in a statement.

Flipkart announces launch of VU 32 inch Android TV * E-commerce major Flipkart today announced the exclusive launch of VU 32 inch Android LED TV from Vu Televisions, the California-based luxury television company.
Priced at Rs 26,990, this is the first smart TV available on an android platform from Vu Technologies and will be exclusively available on Flipkart from October 20, 2014.

BASF India Q2 net loss at Rs 19.95 cr
* BASF India Ltd has reported a net loss of Rs 19.95 crore for the quarter ended September 2014 as compared to Rs 33.37 crore in the same period last year.
The company has registered sales of Rs 1208.2 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs 1055.5 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year, an increase of 14 per cent.
The company's profit before interest and tax stood at Rs 3.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 compared to Rs 63.7 crore for the corresponding quarter of previous year.
"The increased sales in the second quarter of FY'15 were mainly a result of the strong growth of our functional materials and solutions businesses. However, late and erratic monsoons impacted profitability of the agricultural solutions business adversely..." BASF India CMD Raman Ramachandran said in a statement.
The board of directors also approved appointment of Andrea Frenzel, Senior Vice-President, Strategic Planning, BASF SE as Woman Director in place of Andrew Postlethwaite effective January 1, 2015.
