Zooey Deschanel to produce her first movie

'New Girl' star Zooey Deschanel is al set to produce her first movie.

The 33-year-old actress and her partners at Hello Giggles have sold their film, "Sister-In-Law", to bosses at Good Universe, according to Deadline.

The movie centres upon a woman who meets her boyfriend's family for the first time and struggles to get along with his unconventional sister.

Earlier this month, Deschanel sold two TV shows, 'And Lies I Tell My Daughter' and 'Freelancers', to US networks NBC and Fox.
