Zydus Wellness MD Elkana N Ezekiel resigns

Zydus Wellness, consumer products arm of Ahmedabad-based Zydus Cadila today said its Managing Director Elkana N Ezekiel has resigned.

"Elkana N. Ezekiel has tendered his resignation as a Director/Managing Director of the Company as well as from the Committees of the Board in which he is a member, with effect from April 14, 2015," Zydus Wellness said in a BSE filing.

He was appointed as the Managing Director of the company in February 2012 following the resignation of Anand G Deo.

Prior to his joining Zydus Wellness, Ezekiel was the Chief Marketing Officer for Samsung India. He has also worked with various other companies including Johnson & Johnson, Colgate Palmolive and Geoffrey Manners.
