India's core consumer inflation seen at around 4.6 percent in July

MUMBAI (Reuters) - India's core annual consumer price inflation in July accelerated slightly to around 4.6 percent year-on-year from around 4.5 percent in June, according to a snap survey of three analysts on Friday.

Data released earlier showed India's annual consumer price inflation accelerated at a faster-than-expected pace to 6.07 percent in July, mainly driven by higher food prices.
