Majority of U.S. Senate backs Yellen for top Fed job

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Janet Yellen's nomination to be the next chair of the Federal Reserve appeared certain to win approval in the U.S. Senate on Monday as a majority of the chamber voted in her favor.
The roll call vote on the nomination, however, was continuing.
