Exensys Soft to expand operations

Exensys Software Solutions, formerly known as Holool, proposes to expand its domestic and international operations in the next fiscal.

To sustain its expansion plans, the company has decided to increase the number of employees at its overseas development centre here, from the existing 460 to over 800 by FY07 end.

"The cost of expansion will be around $4 million," said Mohammed Shams Qamar, managing director, Exensys, adding that the company secured the capability maturity model integration (CMMI) level 5 certification last month.

He said the company currently has a presence in 14 countries and "will be expanding to 25 countries by next fiscal".

Similarly, the company would be expanding its domestic operations by opening marketing offices in Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi. It was looking at Tier II cities in the country for expansion.

"Though we are a small company, we are going at a rapid pace. Apart from focusing on our delivery channels, we are investing a lot on product development," Qamar said.

Exensys, which stands for extended enterprise system, provides a range of IT solutions in the areas of enterprise application solutions, strategic business consulting and extended enterprise information systems.
