ING Group, the largest Dutch financial-services company, may move some jobs to India to cut costs, executive board member Eric Boyer de la Giroday said.

ING and its Bangalore-based ING Vysya Bank unit may hire a company to provide back-office services, Boyer de la Giroday said during a visit to Manila. It is "too early" to say what functions and how many jobs may be involved, he said.

"The development of outsourcing for ING is certainly a reality,'' Boyer de la Giroday said. "We could have a kind of joint effort" with ING Vysya, "which is looking at outsourcing."
