Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt has admitted that he always tries to make sure his son is protected from the limelight.
	The 34-year-old "500 Days of Summer" star said he wants to make sure his son makes up his own mind about being in the public eye, something which comes with having a father who is famous, reported People magazine.
	"Being in the public eye is a great thing. It allows me to do what I love to do, which is act in movies, but it's a choice that I made. I decided to have a career in show business, and so people know my name and know my face. And that has its upsides and honestly, some downsides," Joseph said.
	"My son, he's just a baby, you know? He hasn't made the choice to be in the public eye, and that's a choice that I would like him to be able to make when he's older, when he can think about these kinds of things and make that decision for himself.
	"And so, for now, I'm just a protective dad, and I want to protect his privacy," he said.

Filmmaker Ridley Scott thinks Ryan Gosling can pull off looking 27 when he does his "push-ups" in 'Blade Runner 2'.
	The 77-year-old executive producer was asked what time period the sequel to the 1982 original is going to be set in and gushed about how the 34-year-old Hollywood hunk looks like he's in his late 20's, reported Femalefirst.
	"It was 2017, so coming back it'll be 2047, roughly. As young as you can play Ryan Gosling. He's 34, but he looks 27 when he's doing his push-ups. So maybe 2050," Scott said.

Actress Lena Dunham says she has begun thinking of wrapping her TV show "Girls" after season six.
	The actress spoke about plans to end "Girls" on "Elvis Duran and the Morning Show" on Tuesday, September 29 to talk about her Lenny Letter project, reported Female First.
	"Never say never, but that is the way we're thinking about it right now and we're starting to think about sort of how to wrap up the storylines of these particular young women," said the 29-year-old actress, who also created the critically-acclaimed comedy.
	She added, "It's really exciting. I started working on this show when I was 23, and I'm going to be 30 so it kind of feels right that this show kind of sandwiched my 20s and then I go off into the world."
	It is not the first time Dunham talked about ending the show after season 6. In an interview earlier this year, she said that she had talked with HBO about ending the show with a sixth season.

Production house Universal Pictures has confirmed the sequel to 2013 science fiction monster film "Pacific Rim" is delayed in production and the empty August 4, 2017 slot will now be filled with musical drama 'Pitch Perfect 3'.
	The studio announced on Tuesday, September 29 the "Pacific Rim" sequel was indeed pulled from its release calendar but would eventually see the light, reported Aceshowbiz.
	"Legendary and Universal Pictures are committed to having Pacific Rim 2, the sequel to 2013's Pacific Rim, which generated more USD 411 million at the global box office, be the vanguard, fully-immersive experience that the franchise deserves," Universal said in a statement.
	The studio continued, "To this end, the decision was made to delay the production and release of 'Pacific Rim 2' so that the creative team can continue in its efforts to exceed the amazing experience of the first film.

ABC's "Nightline" is apologizing for confusing new network star Priyanka Chopra with another Indian actress.
	The news magazine aired a feature earlier this week about Chopra, the star of ABC's new drama "Quantico." A video shot supposedly showing Chopra in the Miss World pageant was included.
	But the video was of Yukta Mookhey, who won the crown in 1999. Chopra was the 2000 Miss World winner.
	The error was noted online by viewers, and ABC responded with an apology and posted a corrected version of the "Nightline" story online.

ABC apologizes for mixing up video of Indian actresses

Actor-director Farhan Akhtar, who will host TV show 'I Can Do That', today said he did feel the pressure to make the programme entertaining for the audience.
	"The pressure on me is that the show should do well... make sure the show is fun-filled and entertaining. I just hope it goes well. I do not succumb to pressure. But there is a responsibility towards the channel... The show," Farhan told reporters here at a press conference to announce details of the programme, which will premiere on Zee TV on October 17.

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar today said that more people should come forward to help the drought-hit farmers of Maharashtra.
	As a severe drought gripped Maharashtra this monsoon, actors Nana Patekar and Akshay Kumar have reached out to the farmers with substantial monetary help. Patekar and Marathi actor Makrand Anaspure have also set up a foundation for this purpose.

Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar today said he hopes issued raised by cine industry workers are resolved in time so that they don't have to go on a strike next month as announced by their union.
	Reportedly, members of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) have threatened to go on an indefinite strike from October 3 to demand a hike in their daily wages and improvement in working conditions.
	Reacting to the strike call, Akhtar said strike affects everyone and hoped the matter gets resolved in time.
	"I think strike affects everyone - those who are participating in it and also those who are not participating like directors, producers and others. I have not enquired about it. Hopefully, we resolve it," Farhan told reporters here at an event.

Filmmaker Mohit Suri has directed a music video "Lamhein", which marks his non-film directorial debut.
	The song is crooned by singer Anmol Malik, daughter of music composer Anu Malik. The video features Anmol, 25, and "Fugly" actor Mohit Marwah.
	The track is said to be a recreation of American rock band Coldplay's hit track "Paradise". Anu has scored the music for his daughter's debut single.
	The "Aashiqui 2" director said he is happy with the way the song has shaped up.
	"I am delighted the way the song and the video of 'Lamhein' has shaped up. I almost feel the same nervous energy which I felt during my first film release considering this is my first attempt at a 'non-film' music video," Suri said in a statement.
