Akzo Nobel India announces changes in the Board of Directors

Akzo Nobel India Ltd has announced various changes in the Board of Directors of the company. Amit Jain will be stepping down from the Board of the Company as the Managing Director with effect from close of business on December 31, 2013. Jain has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director with effect from January 02, 2014.
 
In addition, Akzo Nobel India has nominated Himanshu Agarwal, Wholetime Director and CFO, as the Operating Head of the company, with effect from January 01, 2014 till the time the Managing Director’s position is filled in.
 
It may be recollected, in October 2013, the Dutch company had announced the elevation of Amit Jain as AkzoNobel NV’s Director, Decorative Paints - North & Central Europe, based in Amsterdam, effective January 1, 2014.
