The company will be executing more than 5 MW roof top projects in Uttrakhand state under this allocation

Ujaas Energy wins bid for rooftop solar PV projects in Uttrakhand

Ujaas Energy Limited has won the latest bid, called by Uttrakhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA), for the execution of the roof top projects in the state of Uttrakhand. “The company which is committed and known for successful execution of grid connected roof top solar PV projects in India at most economic rates has ones again become L1 bidder for these projects under various categories,” said Ujaas Energy in a press release.  
 
The company has already successfully executed more than 2000 KWp of roof top projects in various parts of India for leading public sector enterprises and private sector companies. Ujaas Energy, which is presently executing another similar capacity for its clients, will be executing more than 5 MW roof top projects in Uttrakhand state under this allocation.
 
Vikalp Mundra, joint managing director, Ujaas Energy, said, “The company believes in service backed business development and has already established their sales and service support team in major locations of Uttrakhand. The state Uttrakhand has a great potential of energy from roof top solar PV as the state has large industrial houses having large roofs. The state is also blessed with descent solar isolation and due to optimum temperature the generation is also good. The state roof top policy allows selling the excess power generation to the state utility at a price of Rs.9.20 per Kwh which makes the investment more attractive from the investor’s perspective.”
