Delhi Capitals have registered back-to-back victories in the IPL 2025 as they defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets on the night in Vishakhapatnam. A 50-run partnership by Stubbs and Porel did the job for the hosts on the day who chased down 164 with 4 overs to spare. Mitchell Starc starred with the ball as his fifer bamboozled the big hitters of SRH and had them restricted to just 163 in the 1st innings. Earlier, Delhi Capitals restricted the big-hitting line-up of Sunrisers Hyderabad to just 163 on the day as Mitchell Starc takes a fifer on in match number 10 of the IPL 2025 in Vishakhapatnam.
Opener Abhishek Sharma failed to make a mark yet again as he was run out due to a mix-up with Travis Head in the middle. However, it was Starc who continued to torment the SRh line-up, taking 2 wickets in his 2nd over and taking out both Travis Head and Ishan Kishan.
Aniket Verma was the saving grace for the visitors who scored his maiden IPL fifty and ended up with a 41-ball 74, which helped put some important run on board for SRH.
It was his partnership with Heinrich Klaasen (32) that took them to a respectable after which it was all DC who were brilliant in the field and took some incredible catches as well. SRH 1st innings scorecard:
