Needing to win this match to stay in the hunt for the playoffs, Rajasthan Royals beat Kolkata Knight Riders by a big margin of nine wickets with 41 balls to spare.
Winning the toss and bowling first, Rajasthan were helped by the bowling of Yuzvendra Chahal who took 4/25 in his four overs and restricted the Knight Riders to 149/8.
Chasing the target, Yashasvi Jaiswal went off like a rocket and that never came down from the sky. He scored a brilliant 98* off just 47 balls and won the game for his team. Sanju Samson scored 46* while Jos Buttler was run out. Courtesy of this win, Rajasthan have now moved to third position in the points table.
