There cannot be democratic integration without the involvement of women in politics. Women's reservation is the victory of BJP's ideology, says PM Modi.

The Indian government on September 25 said it has permitted exports of 75,000 tonnes of non-basmati white rice to UAE. The export is permitted through National Cooperative Exports Limited (NCEL), the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) said in a notification.

Claiming that bringing the women's reservation bill was a "politically motivated move", the Congress on Monday said it was the "biggest jumla" of the BJP government in the last nine years, reported PTI. The party also alleged that the BJP has a habit of taking credit of works initiated by the Congress, whether it be on the bill or infrastructure projects. "The women's reservation bill is the 'biggest jumla' in the last nine years. Multiple 'jumlas' have come but this is the biggest one," Congress national spokesperson Shama Mohammad told reporters in Srinagar.

Canada's Defence Minister Bill Blair emphasized the significance of the relationship with India, affirming his country's commitment to fostering partnerships such as the Indo-Pacific strategy. This commitment persists even as the investigation into the assassination of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar unfolds.

The Congress on Monday alleged the Narendra Modi government was unwilling to implement the Women's Reservation Bill and only wanted to showcase it as an election gimmick. Speaking to reporters, the AICC national coordinator for social media and digital platforms Bhavya Narsimhamurthy demanded that the government implement the bill without delay. The bill to reserve one-third of the seats in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies for women received the parliamentary nod last week.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a mega congregation of BJP workers here in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh on Monday. The 'Karyakarta Mahakumbh' is being organised on the birth anniversary of Jana Sangh co-founder Deendayal Upadhyaya to mark the formal culmination of the BJP's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatras' that crisscrossed the length and breadth of the state, party leaders said.

Ahead of Chhattisgarh assembly elections due later this year, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will launch Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Nyay Yojna (MGANY) in Bilaspur district on Monday. This scheme is aimed at providing financial assistance to the homeless and families having kutcha houses in rural areas.
