New Delhi, June 14 (ANI): After 57 children died due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) in Bihar's Muzaffarpur, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan assured all support and assistance to the state government. As the situation going severe day by day, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan held a meeting with Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey, and assured all support and assistance to the state government. He also said that the numbers of Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) cases are declining in Bihar. The Health Minister's comment comes after as many as 57 children died due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) in Bihar's Muzaffarpur while another 130 are hospitalised.AES outbreaks are routine in areas in and around Muzaffarpur during summer, and mostly affects children below 15 years of age.
