Security guard held for killing 6-year-old girl and having sex with corpse in Haridwar

Haridwar (Uttarakhand), Apr 30 (ANI): A body of a 6-year-old girl was recovered from Haridwar Chidiyapur forest on April 27. Security guard was held on April 29 for killing a 6-year-old girl and having sex with corpse. He was arrested soon after the girl's body was recovered from the forest on Saturday morning. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Janmejay Khanduri said, "Children playing with the girl told us that she was last seen with the accused. He has confessed to the crime. Evidence also confirms his involvement." Further investigation is underway.
