New Delhi, May 04 (ANI): Video game digital distribution service Steam has announced that it will no longer support SteamVR on macOS.  The company first introduced, SteamVR for Apple computers, in the 2017's Worldwide Developers Conference. Steam has now ended the support which lasted for about three years. The move was announced in a short post on SteamVR's news page, laid out in a single sentence: "SteamVR has ended macOS support so our team can focus on Windows and Linux." Mac users will still have some access to the feature, however, via legacy builds. One door closes, another will surely open.

Markets regulator Sebi has exempted Spice Healthcare Pvt Ltd from making an open offer to SpiceJet shareholders in relation to acquisition of additional shares in the airline.
On conversion of warrants that were issued to it, Spice Healthcare, a promoter group entity, would be acquiring an additional 13,14,08,514 equity shares in the airline.
In this regard, SpiceJet had sought an exemption from Sebi with respect to making an open offer for the shareholders of the airline.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), through an order on Friday, has given the exemption from making the open offer to Spice Healthcare subject to certain conditions, the airline said in a filing to BSE on Saturday.
Post conversion of the warrants, Spice Healthcare will have an additional 13.74 per cent stake in the airline and that would trigger the open offer requirement under Sebi norms.

State-owned Oil India Ltd plans to invest Rs 25,000 crore in clean energy projects to help achieve the net zero carbon emission goal by 2040, its chairman Ranjit Rath said on Saturday.
OIL's net zero plan includes a combination of cutting down the flaring of gas and commercialisation of stranded gas as well as setting up renewable electricity generation capacity, building green hydrogen plants and constructing biogas and ethanol plants.
The net zero plans will go alongside its target to raise crude oil and natural gas production to 9 million tonnes of oil and oil equivalent gas by 2025-26 from 6.5 million tonnes produced in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2024, he told reporters here.
The company also plans to lay an 80-kilometer pipeline to bring natural gas from fields in Arunachal Pradesh to Assam to help replace polluting liquid fuels in transport as well as industries.
"Achieving a net zero target involves a bouquet of activities," he said.

Amazon Web Services on Friday announced that seven generative AI startups from India have been selected for its global Generative AI accelerator program.

Punjab Police on Sunday said it has arrested the second suspect involved in the Chandigarh grenade blast incident.
Vishal Masih, a resident of village Raimal in Gurdaspur's Batala, was nabbed from Delhi, Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav said.
Two suspects, who came in an auto-rickshaw, had carried out the grenade blast at a house in upscale Sector 10 here on September 11.
Police arrested main perpetrator Rohan Masih, involved in the blast incident, on September 13.
"Within 72 hours of the Chandigarh Grenade blast, the @PunjabPoliceInd  in coordination with Central Agencies has arrested the second perpetrator of the blast,  Yadav said in a post on X.
Following leads generated through various sources, second perpetrator Vishal Masih s/o Sabi Masih resident of village Raimal near Dhyanpur PS Kotli Surat Mallian, #Batala, District #Gurdaspur has been arrested from #Delhi, he said.
Further investigations are being conducted to uncover the entire conspiracy, he further said.
