World's most powerful military rankings: Where does India stand?

Who has the strongest military force in the world and where does India stand? A study, conducted by defence website Military Direct, lists out top armies of the world. The "ultimate military strength index" was calculated after taking into consideration various factors including budgets, the number of inactive and active military personnel, total air, sea, land and nuclear resources, average salaries, and weight of equipment.
