"Democracy requires rising and falling as one": Barack Obama

Chicago, Jan 11 (ANI): "Work of democracy is hard and it's contentious, well it has been bloody too," said U.S. President Barack Obama, who swears by the fact that Democracy is what marches a nation forward. In his final ode to the gathering, President Obama did mention that democracy required a basic sense of solidarity and that we rise and fall as one. With this, the U.S President said that within 10 days, America is all set to witness a hallmark of democracy, peaceful transition from one freely elected president to another. He further elaborated this by stating that America is a better, stronger place than it was when it started eight years ago.
