2008 Malegaon blast: Bombay HC questions appeals against acquittals

The Bombay High Court on Tuesday said it was "not an open gate for everyone" to file an appeal against acquittal in the 2008 Malegaon blast case, and sought details if family members of the victims were examined as witnesses in the trial. Purohit and six others, including BJP MP Prgaya Singh Thakur, are facing trial in the case of the blast that killed six people and left more than 100 injured in September 2008. All the accused are currently out on bail.
