The BJP on Sunday launched "selfie with palace of corruption" campaign here to target the AAP over the alleged irregularities in the renovation of the official residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The "#SelfieWithCorruptionKaRajmahal" campaign comes at a time when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders, including Kejriwal, have been targeting the Modi government over its ordinance denying the Delhi government control over services matters. The BJP has been alleging irregularities in the renovation of the official residence of the Delhi chief minister at a cost of Rs 52 crore, calling it a "Raj Mahal". During the campaign, party leaders and workers will click selfies with a model of the renovated official residence of the chief minister to corner the AAP. Campaigns to be held to stop spread of vector-borne diseases: Delhi mayor

Awareness campaigns will be held in all the 250 municipal wards of Delhi to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases, Mayor Shelly Oberoi said on Wednesday. Oberoi said she has given instructions to officials to start the 'DMC (Dengue-Malaria-Chikungunya)' campaign. Mass awareness campaigns will be conducted in all 250 wards with the help of RWAs, local councillors and school students, she said. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) is gearing up to prevent the spread of vector-borne diseases such as dengue, malaria and chikungunya to keep residents of Delhi safe from these diseases, her office said in a statement. The 'DMC' campaign will be undertaken in all zones to prevent the spread of these diseases, she said. The mayor on Wednesday held a high-level meeting at the Civic Centre with officials of the public health department and deputy commissioners of all zones on this issue. To this end, a plan was prepared to prevent vector-borne diseases from spreading in the city.

The Delhi government will launch the "Red Light on Gaadi off" campaign again to curb vehicular pollution from October 28, Environment Minister Gopal Rai said on Friday. Prashant Kishor starts 3,500 km 'padayatra' on Gandhi birth anniversary

Political strategist Prashant Kishor began a 3,500-kilometre long padayatra' from the Gandhi Ashram in Bihar's West Champaran district on Sunday, the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, as part of his Jan Suraj' campaign. Centre to launch campaign focussing on cleanliness in govt offices

Union Minister Jitendra Singh will launch a special campaign here on Sunday focussing on cleanliness and reducing pendency in government offices, according to an official statement. Until now, more than 67,000 sites have been identified by ministries/departments of Government of India for conducting the cleanliness campaigns, the statement issued on Saturday said.
