58 more services to be added soon to Delhi govt's doorstep delivery scheme

The Arvind Kejriwal government's flagship doorstep delivery of services scheme in Delhi is likely to be expanded soon with the addition of 58 more services, officials said on Wednesday. The doorstep delivery scheme currently covers 100 services of 13 departments. Chief Minister Kejriwal is expected to launch doorstep delivery of the new services in the first week of August, a senior officer said. Preparations for the launch are almost complete and the software for it has been tested, he said. The 58 new services include 29 related to the transport department. These include international driving permits, name change in driving licences and issuing vehicle fitness certificates, according to an official document. Some services related to the Mukhya Mantri Tirth Yatra Yojna and ex gratia payment are also in the list of new services to be added to the doorstep delivery scheme. SpiceXpress partners Ekart to provide first and last-mile delivery space

SpiceJet Ltd's cargo arm SpiceXpress and Logistics has partnered with supply chain services providers Ekart in the first and last-mile delivery space, the company said on Monday. As part of this partnership, Ekart will provide first-mile pickup of cargo shipments and will also help deliver them through last-mile connectivity across all serviceable pin codes in the country, SpiceXpress said in a statement. Magicpin records multi-fold growth in daily orders on ONDC in 5 weeks

Hyperlocal startup magicpin on Friday said has recorded 200-fold growth in daily orders to 20,000 per day within the first five weeks of joining the government-supported Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC). Magicpin said it has reached 20,000 per orders day on the ONDC platform in the week ending May 7. "Within the first four weeks of joining ONDC, magicpin scaled from 100 to 10,000 orders a day. India Post, Shiprocket partner to boost e-commerce delivery services

State-owned India Post has partnered with logistics aggregator Shiprocket to enhance its last-mile delivery services for various e-commerce products, an official statement said on Friday. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between India Post, Shiprocket and Pickrr at Dak Bhawan here. Under the collaboration, India Post has ensured IT integration with IT systems of Shiprocket.
