Winner of America's Got Talent dies at 42

Neal Boyd, the winner of third season of one of the most popular live singing shows, America's Got Talent, has passed away at the age of 42.The news was confirmed when Piers Morgan, one of the celebrity judges, posted a condolence on his Twitter.The 53-year old wrote, "Very sad to hear that Neal Boyd, Season 3 winner of ?@AGT?, has died at 42 from heart failure. Lovely guy with a wonderful voice. RIP."As confirmed by E! News, the opera singer died on Sunday at his mother's home in Sikeston, Missouri.According to Scott County Coroner, the singer was found unresponsive by his mother and was pronounced dead by Emergency Services.Boyd was going through various health issues for quite some time, reported E! News.

CBFC receives complaint against 'Sanju'

A complaint has been filed with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) against the much-anticipated film 'Sanju'.In his complaint, filed by activist Prithvi Mhaske, he has raised an objection on the "toilet leakage scene in the barrack of jail picturised in the movie."Dated June 11 and addressed to Prasoon Joshi, Chairman (CBFC) and the makers of the film and Ranbir Kapoor, the letter stated, "In the trailer of the movie we have seen a scene that Sanjay Dutt was in such a barrack of a jail in which the toilet overflowed. Paul Feig's production company greenlights Muslim-American series

Filmmaker Paul Feig's digital production company, Powderkeg, has greenlighted Muslim-American series "East of La Brea". According to the Hollywood Reporter, the shortform show, which is the company's first original series, follows Aisha Hassan, a Black Muslim, and her Bangladeshi-American roommate, Farha Munshi. Sameer Gardezi has created the show using a grant from the philanthropic fund Pop Culture Collaborative and working with MuslimARC to develop a project that is authentic to the Muslim-American experience.
