She is one of the top stars in the Hindi film industry and now Katrina Kaif is planning to share her journey, which was full of ups and downs, in the form a book. The actor, who made her Bollywood debut with 2003 film "Boom" was initially criticised for her acting abilities and dancing skills, but she has come a long way. Veteran actor Deepti Naval has paid tributes to her co-star Farooq Sheikh on his 70th birth anniversary, calling him an "erudite" person and a brilliant artiste. Naval, who made a popular lead pair with Sheikh in the 1980s with hits such as "Chashme Buddoor", "Kissi Se Na Kehna", "Rang Birangi", "Saath Saath" among others, today took to Facebook to remember the actor. Ajay Devgn and Ashwni Dhir to team up for another comedy
Filmmaker Ashwni Dhir will be reuniting with actor Ajay Devgn for a comedy on the lines of their 2012 hit "Son of Sardaar". "We (Ajay and I) are doing a film together. It will be a comedy. like 'Son of Sardaar'. Maybe it will be a 'Son of Sardaar 2'. All I can confirm is that, it will be about a sardar. It will be a fun family film," Dhir told PTI. The yet-to-be-titled film will roll from November-December and might release on Diwali next year. "Chicago Fire" actor DuShon Monique Brown has passed away. She was 49. According to The Chicago Tribune, the Cook County medical examiner's office stated the star died a little after 12 p.m. at St James Olympia Field Hospital. The cause of death is currently unknown and the coroner has an autopsy scheduled for tomorrow, E! News reported. Executive producer of the show Dick Wolf mourned Brown's demise. Unseen Beatles pictures in US auctioned for 253,200 pounds
An unseen collection of over 350 teenage photographs of The Beatles', when they first came to America, has been sold for 253,200 pounds at an auction on Merseyside. According to The Guardian, the pictures clicked by Mike Mitchell show the legendary band's arrival in 1964 for their initial concerts in the US at Washington DC and Baltimore. A total lot of 413 negatives went under the gavel with copyright for 253,200 pounds by Omega Auctions. Only 46 of these pictures had been seen before at an auction in 2011. Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr, who was knighted this week, were also shown at pre-show press conferences and on stage.
