'Karma is a b***h': actor Sahil Khan on CDR case

Reacting to controversies involving actor Sahil Khan and Jackie Shroff's wife Ayesha Shroff in the latest Call Data Recording (CDR) case, the 'Style' actor claimed "Karma is a b***h".In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Khan said, "I have moved on, I had forgiven her for whatever happened. I do not know what her intentions were; we'll know when the police find out. Karma is a b***h, what goes around comes around, I had forgotten about this but maybe karma had other plans."Earlier, during the analysis of celebrity advocate Rizwan Siddiqui's mobile, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Thane crime branch, Abhishek Trimukhe had revealed that they recovered CDRs of Khan.As per DCP Trimukhe, the CDRs were shared with Rizwan by Ayesha Shroff.As per information, Ayesha allegedly had an affair with Khan and a dispute between the two led the former to procure the CDRs of Khan, who later shared it with Rizwan.Rizwan was allegedly blackmailing Sahil.

'Raid' crosses 50cr mark before its first week

Dutt sends legal notice to publisher-writer of his unofficial biography

Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has slammed author Yasser Usman and publishers Juggernaut for an unofficial biography on him, saying the book is based on "1990s' tabloids and gossip magazines" and hurts his family. The actor, whose life story is already being adapted for the big screen by his "Munnabhai" director Rajkumar Hirani, said he is working on his official autobiography and it will be out soon. "I have not authorised either Juggernaut Publications or Yasser Usman to write/publish my biography. Our lawyers had sent them a legal notice, in response to which Juggernaut Publications said that contents of the proposed book are based on information available in public domain from authentic sources. Veteran director Sudhir Mishra feels sad that makers like him and Shyam Benegal are not given the importance they deserve for their work in alternative cinema. Mishra says it has taken a long time for the industry people itself to notice filmmakers and actors who churn out unusual stories. "This is always a problem. It is changing a bit. I feel far less lonely. In this industry, Shyam Benegal is not given the importance that he should be (getting), they accept Smita Patil from that camp (of parallel cinema) but they don't accept a maker. Malayalam actress abduction: Kerala HC postpones plea filed by accused Dileep

The Kerala High Court on Wednesday postponed a plea filed by accused actor Dileep in the assault case of a Malayalam actress, asking for the visuals of the victim's assault, to March 26.The case was postponed on demand of the prosecution as well as Dileep's counsel. Actor Jeff Goldblum has hinted at the possibility of Laura Dern returning to the "Jurassic Park" franchise. The 65-year-old actor, who is reprising his role of Dr Ian Malcolm in "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom", teased about Dern's character Ellie Sattler making a cameo in the new film. "I don't want to pass on gossip like my character. Gupta keen to revive 'Rapchik Romance'

Filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta is keen to revive an old quirky comedy of his titled, "Rapchik Romance". Gupta returned to the director's chair with Ajay Devgn-starrer "Raid" recently. He last directed "Ghanchakkar", starring Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi. Gupta said there was a film he had written during "Ghanchakkar" called "Rapchik Romance" and hopes to revive it someday. "There is a script which is big time in my system which I thought was relevant then and is till today. It is a crazy quirky film called 'Rapchik Romance', which might have an extreme reaction," he adds. "I wrote it in 2013, I pitched to a couple of people but (nothing worked out). For this film I need right minds to understand. I hope I get to make it someday." The director said there are several stories which a filmmaker wants to tell, but often things don't materialise and one has to let it go. There may be instances when female stars demanded and received pay parity but actor Dia Mirza believes real change will come when we tell stories that give equal opportunity to both the genders. The actor believes the industry needs to mature in its treatment of women and the kind of roles that are written for them. "It is about time that women in industry address gender disparity. Until the industry matures in its understanding that we need to treat women equally, not much can change. "It is a combination of two things. One is that women need to start asserting their rights and also it has to be narrated. Sanjay Dutt to star in comedy film "Blockbuster"

Actor Sanjay Dutt, who has done some memorable comic roles, has signed a multi-starrer comedy film titled "Blockbuster". Producer Sandeep Singh, who had earlier collaborated with Dutt on his comeback film "Bhoomi", is producing "Blockbuster". The "Munnabhai" series actor says he has always loved the genre. "It is the genre that makes me feel at home. The scale of 'Blockbuster' is huge and multi-starrers always connect well with audiences.
