Katrina keeps an atmosphere of fun, friendship on sets: Rai

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai is happy the way his forthcoming project "Zero" is shaping up, and is specially pleased with Katrina Kaif who, he says, has added warmth to the film's sets. Shah Rukh Khan, who stars in "Zero" as a vertically challenged man, has been posting pictures from the sets and once quipped how Katrina has become his and the film's new social media manager. Rai, who is working with Kaif for the first time, said it is wonderful to have her on the sets. "She is having a lot of fun doing this. Thanks to her and the entire set because the film is technically and emotionally so difficult it was important for certain kind of people to associate with it who would create an atmosphere like this on sets," Rai told reporters. "That's what Katrina is doing. She keeps an atmosphere of friendship and fun on the sets...which is so nice of her and the entire team, to have this kind of atmosphere on sets, all around," he said. Thanos and Thor to have most screen time in 'Infinity War': Joe Russo

Marvel's "Avengers: Infinity War" has an army of superheroes fighting the intergalactic villain Thanos and now the directors, Anthony and Joe Russo, have revealed which of the two characters will have the maximum screen time in the film. Joe said that the fans will see Norse god Thor and villain Thanos the most in the upcoming film. Pak apex court bars TV anchor from hosting his show for 3 months

Pakistan's Supreme Court today imposed a three-month ban on a television anchor from hosting his show after he failed to prove his allegations against a man who was convicted for rape and murder of a six-year-old girl in Punjab province. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Saqib Nisar also directed Shahid Masood, anchor of the news channel TVOne, to submit a written unconditional apology. Masood in his programme, in January, had said that Imran Ali was a member of a pornography gang including leading politicians. He had also claimed Ali had 37 foreign accounts and money was transferred to him from abroad. The CJP suo moto took notice of claim made by Masood in his programme and also he stood by, following which the court ordered an official probe, which in its report said that the allegations were false. During the hearing, the anchor offered an unconditional apology, saying "sorry from the depths of my heart" for misleading the court. But Justice Nisar dismissed his verbal apology, ...

Mark Hamill's character of Luke Skywalker may be dead now, but the actor has reprised his "Star Wars" universe role for a short animated film. The 66-year-old actor has voiced the character in the new installment of the animated series of shorts "Star Wars: Forces of Destiny". He voices the young Luke while he is still being trained by Yoda on Dagobah during the time period of "The Empire Strikes Back". The title of the second short film is "The Path Ahead." "Struggling with his Jedi training, Luke is grateful for master Yoda's offer to join him on a sojourn through the trees and swamps of Dagobah, until he learns that Yoda will be riding in his backpack! 'Wonder Woman 2' will begin filming in June

The shooting on DC's "Wonder Woman 2" will start in June this year. Contrary to earlier reports that stated that the filming will take place in the UK, the film will be shot in the US around the area of Northern Virginia/District of Columbia, reported Omega Underground. Gal Gadot, who played the iconic superhero in the blockbuster original film and later reprised it in "Justice League", will be back for the sequel along with director Patty Jenkins. In June last year, Jenkins had stated in an interview that the sequel would be set in the US. "The story will take place in the US, which I think is right. She's Wonder Woman. 'Baahubali 2' cleared for theatrical release in China

Indian blockbuster "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" will soon get a theatrical release in China. According to Variety, the fantasy action film will be released by EStars Media, which also handled "Baahubali: The Beginning," in China. The makers have received the censor certificate, but have not yet decided a release date. Directed by S S Rajamouli and starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah Bhatia, "Baahubali 2" was released in India in April last year. "Baahubali: The Beginning" had earned USD 123 million total in China. The magnum opus follows Aamir Khan's "Dangal, which earned an astonishing USD 195 million on release in China, "Secret Superstar" and Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan."
