Comedy icon Ken Dodd has passed away just days after leaving hospital. He was 90. Dodd was recently released from hospital after six weeks of treatment for a chest infection, reported BBC. On Friday, he had married Anne Jones, his partner of 40 years, at their house, the same one he grew up in, in the Liverpool suburb of Knotty Ash. "To my mind, he was one of the last music hall greats. He asked Anne if she wanted to marry. They got the registrar and were married in the house on Friday. "He died two days later on Mother's Day. Anne is obviously very upset. They had been together for 40 years. It's a love story to beat them all," his publicist Robert Holmes said in a statement. Dodd was famous for his very long stand-up shows - with which he was touring until last year - along with his Diddy Men and the tickling stick. "He passed away in the home that he was born in over 90 years ago. He's never lived anywhere else. It's absolutely amazing," added Holmes. He was a chart-topping singer .

Actors Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth are developing a new show loosely based on their career-defining primetime soap "Beverly Hills, 90210". The project is currently in development with CBS and would be featuring Spelling and Garth portraying exaggerated versions of themselves, reported People magazine. The original series ran from 1990 to 2000. It was rebooted as 90210 on the CW from 2008 to 2013. The series has yet to be given a title, but Garth and Spelling reportedly attended meetings for the project at the CBS network office over the weekend.
Veteran actor Michael Caine has joined the list of Woody Allen film alums who have vowed to never work with the director again in the wake of the allegations levelled against him by daughter Dylan Farrow. Caine, who won an Academy Award in 1987 for Allen's film "Hannah and Her Sisters" told The Guardian, "I am so stunned. I'm a patron of the NSPCC (National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children) and have very strong views about paedophilia." Blair said Diaz had told her that she did not plan to make any more movies, as she wants to be with husband Benji Madden, reported Metro.
