Happy that "Padmaavat" will release everywhere: Nana Patekar

Actor Nana Patekar today expressed happiness at the Supreme Court's order paving the way for the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Padmaavat" across the country. Speaking to reporters during the trailer launch of his Marathi film "Aapla Manus", Patekar said that if the intention of making a film is not controversial, it will defintely see the light of day. British actor Peter Wyngarde dies in London hospital aged 90

Longtime British television and stage star Peter Wyngarde, best known for his role as the detective Jason King in the 1970s, has died. He was 90. His manager Thomas Bowington said today the actor died Monday in Chelsea and Westminster hospital in London after an illness that lasted several months. "His mind was razor sharp until the end," Bowington told The Associated Press. "He entertained that whole hospital. He was funny until the end." SC lifts ban on 'Padmaavat' by 4 states, clears all india

The Supreme Court today threw out the ban imposed on 'Padmaavat' by four BJP-ruled states, paving the way for the nationwide release on January 25 of the controversial film that had triggered violent protests by Rajput and right-wing groups.
