Nolan coming to India by March, says Amitabh Bachchan
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan today said that acclaimed director Christopher Nolan will be visiting India by March this year. The 75-year-old actor said the "Dunkirk" director, who has stayed true to the art of filmmaking by creating masterpieces such as "Inception" and "The Dark Knight" trilogy, on film, will be coming to the country to lend his support to Kodak's new facility here. "It is all about to change yet again... Kodak that largest name for film is coming back... The actor-activist has signed on to produce and star in a five-part documentary series for E!. Facebook ousts Twitter to livestream Golden Globes red carpet
Facebook has replaced Twitter as the exclusive official livestreaming platform for the red carpet event at the Golden Globe Awards this year. In 2016, the microblogging site had secured the rights to livestream the event. According to Variety, Facebook inked the deal with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and Dick Clark Prods (DCP), producers of the event to be held on January 7. Titled "The HFPA Presents: Globes Red Carpet Live", it will be a two-hour-long preshow that will livestream exclusively on the Golden Globes Facebook page from 6-8 pm ET (3-5 pm PT). Under the deal, 360-degree videos will be captured from the red carpet and throughout the red carpet and will be distributed on the Globes' Facebook page. The HFPA will also post exclusive red carpet and backstage footage on FB and the Globes' Instagram account. A fan-driven Q&A will also take place, where selected questions will be taken up through Facebook and streamed live on the Globes official .

Rian Johnson to shoot 'Star Wars' trilogy in Scotland
Fresh from the success of "The Last Jedi", filmmaker Rian Johnson, who will now be directing the "Episode I" of new "Star Wars" trilogy, is set to begin the shooting for the film in Scotland. The new saga of films will be set in the "Star Wars" universe but it would not be a part of the Luke Skywalker story, Contactmusic reported. According to the Scottish newspaper, Daily Record, filming is expected to begin in June, specifically in Argyll and the areas in the north of Scotland. On-location producers hope to use what is known as Rest and Be Thankful - a scenic pass between Loch Long and Loch Awe that rises to 860ft. The original "Star Wars" was created by George Lucas and is currently in the hands of producer J J Abrams. Lucas is said to be co-writing the new story with Johnson.
