The Vamps guitarist James McVey says his friend Brooklyn Beckham has settled in well in New York. The 23-year-old artiste said he is in touch with the aspiring photographer, who relocated from the UK for higher studies last September, and believes he is doing great, FemaleFirst reported. "I spoke to him the other week actually I shaved my head after seeing him do the same thing. He inspired that and I went through a stage of us going to the gym quite a bit and since he moved to New York I've not seen him. "We celebrated his 18th and I haven't seen him since then. It's a shame that he is the other side of the world. I am sure we will bump into each other again soon. I do keep in contact. I think it's great. His photography and the skateboarding, he really fits in with that New York lifestyle," McVey said. Beckham appeared in The Vamps' "Wake up" video in 2015.

The wait is finally over! Amy Winehouse's father claims artist visited him as ghost
Amy Winehouse's father has claimed that the artist's spirit often pays him a visit in the form of a ghost. The late singer's father Mitch Winehouse told The Sun that his daughter's spirit visits her family's home in Kent. "After three years I was thinking maybe that one day she will come back in some shape or form, and she does come back not physically, but spiritually all the time," Winehouse said. "Her spirit comes and sits on the end of my bed. She just sits there and it looks just like her with her beautiful face and she looks at me. I say to her, 'Are you all right?' because I get nervous with her being there. But it is comforting in a way to know she is here and around me," he added. Singer Sunidhi Chauhan gives birth to baby boy
Singer Sunidhi Chauhan has given birth to her first child at a hospital here. The singer, who is married to music composer Hitesh Sonik, gave birth to a boy at Surya Hospitals in Mumbai yesterday. "The baby and mother are both doing well. Sunidhi and husband Hitesh are proud with their little bundle of joy who arrived at 5.20 pm on the January 1, 2018," said Dr Ranjana Dhanu in a statement. "The delivery was uneventful and the baby boy is healthy and doing well," said Dr Bhupendra Avasthi, Director, Pediatrics at Surya Hospitals. The statement also said that both Sunidhi and husband Hitesh are ecstatic about the birth of their first child.

Time's Up: Hollywood's A-list women launch campaign against sexual harassment
To battle sexual harassment in workplaces and to fight for gender equality, 300 Hollywood celebs and other Entertainment industry players have joined forces to launch Time's Up.The movement was announced on Monday in an open letter published in The New York Times.The initiative has already raised $13 million towards a legal defense fund to "help survivors of sexual assault and harassment across all industries challenge those responsible for the harm against them and give voice to their experiences," according to the letter.Among the donors to the fund, according to a statement from Time's Up, are actresses Jennifer Aniston, Kerry Washington, Meryl Streep and Reese Witherspoon, as well as producers Shonda Rhimes and J.J. Over 300 women in Hollywood launch campaign to fight sex abuse
Hollywood women A-listers and actors launched an initiative to fight systemic sexual harassment in the film industry, months after Harvey Weinstein's alleged sexual transgressions came to light. The new initiative, called Time's Up, is being backed by prominent Hollywood women, including Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie Jennifer Aniston, Ashley Judd, America Ferrera, Natalie Portman, Emma Stone, Kerry Washington and hundreds others, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The initiative was formally unveiled in a story by The New York Times, and it's mission was laid out in an open letter signed by hundreds of women in the show business. Documentary on emergency denied certificate by CBFC
A Malayalam documentary on the Emergency, titled '21 Months of Hell', has been denied the censor certificate by the CBFC here, citing 'too much violence' among other things in it, its director said. The 78-minute documentary deals with the alleged methods of torture employed by the police against detainees during the Emergency, the documentary director Yadu Vijayakrishnan, a cinema photographer by profession, told PTI here. The documentary mainly features interviews of "victims" of the Emergency along with the re-enactment of scenes of the alleged "tortures methods" recreated with actors, he said. Vijayakrishnan said the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)asked for proof of the torture methods used by police during the Emergency. John Williams to compose main theme for Han Solo film
Veteran music composer John Williams has been roped in to score the main theme for the forthcoming untitled Star Wars stand-alone Han Solo film. The 85-year-old music maestro of the Star Wars franchise will return to compose the theme for the latest film, the original score of which will be given by John Powell, Variety reported. Talking about what would be his ninth assignment in the popular sci-fi series, Williams said, "The present plan is that I'm writing a theme for Han Solo, and John Powell is going to write the score, which he'll do brilliantly." The multiple Academy Award winner has written the complete scores for all eight of the main "Star Wars" movies.
