Dilip Kumar diagnosed with pneumonia

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar, who was admitted to Lilavati hospital here due to chest infection, has been diagnosed with mild pneumonia, his wife Saira Banu said Thursday. The 95-year-old actor was admitted to Lilavati hospital in suburban Bandra on Wednesday. "He is doing better now. The medical reports are saying a small patch of pneumonia is there. God willing, he will be out of it soon. But he is doing fine," Saira Banu told PTI. Dilip Kumar's nephew Faisal Farooqui first shared the news about the actor's ill health on his official Twitter account. "Saab has been admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital as he was bit uneasy due to a chest infection. He's recuperating. Requesting your duas and prayers," he had written. Known as the 'Tragedy King of Bollywood', Dilip Kumar has given memorable performances in films such as "Andaz", 'Aan', 'Madhumati', 'Devdas' and 'Mughal-e-Azam'.

Ty Dolla $ign arrested in Atlanta for allegedly possessing drugs

American singer Ty Dolla $ign was arrested for allegedly carrying cocaine and marijuana on his way to a concert in Atlanta.According to TMZ, the 'Pineapple' singer and six others were pulled over by Atlanta Police around 4:55 p.m. on Wednesday (local time).Reportedly, police pulled over the van because it smelled of Marijuana, following which, the vehicle was searched and the police found marijuana and cocaine.In a video of the incident, obtained by TMZ, several officers and drug dogs can be seen around the vehicle. According to a spokesperson, the charges have not been officially filed yet.The singer was scheduled to perform at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood Wednesday night. Ty Dolla $ign is also known for writing songs for singers like Kanye West, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Drake and Rihanna.

'Equal rights', 'historic judgment': Celebs hail SC's verdict decriminalising homosexuality

Bollywood celebrities such as Karan Johar and Hansal Mehta welcomed the Supreme Court's judgement Thursday decriminalising consensual gay sex, calling it a historic victory for equal rights and a proud moment for the country. A five-judge Constitution bench of the Supreme Court unanimously decriminalised part of the 158-year-old colonial law under Section 377 of the IPC which criminalises consensual unnatural sex. The bench, headed by Chief Justice Dipak Misra, struck down Section 377 as being violative of right to equality. Director Hansal Mehta, who made "Aligarh", a true-life inspired film about in Aligarh Muslim University professor Ramchandra Siras, who faced discrimination for being gay, called the verdict a "new beginning". "A new beginning. The law is gone. The Supreme Court has done what parliament failed to do. Now it's time for attitudes to change. Let's rejoice but let us also reflect. "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" actor Rebecca Ferguson is in negotiations to star opposite Timothee Chalamet in filmmaker Denis Villeneuve's next directorial venture "Dune". Villeneuve, best known for helming "Arrival" and "Blade Runner 2049", is directing from a script by Eric Roth and the filmmaker will also produce the project alongside Mary Parent and Cale Boyter. Actors Penelope Cruz, Wagner Moura, and Gael Garcia Bernal have come aboard the cast of spy drama "Wasp Network".
