Hong Kong singer Joyce Loo died after falling from a building on Sunday. She was 32. Her body was found at the foot of her home in Hong Kong.The police are not treating her death as suspicious, no suicide note was found on the scene. The actor was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2013, Variety reported.Born in Canada, loo had learned classical guitar from her father at the age of nine. She had been working in music industry since the age of 17 and won many prices for songwriting in Taiwan.Confirming the news, music production house People Mountain People Sea, posted on released a statement on Loo's facebook account saying, that she was fighting a battle against emotional illness."Bipolar is terrible, and lu kai-Tung has been brave enough to fight this disease with many different ways, including coming out to share his experience with the public. We call on everyone to pay attention to the growing problem of this disease, and friends who suffer from emotional illness," the statement .

Hollywood Actress Charlotte Rae, known for her role as house mother Mrs. Garrett on 'The Facts of Life', has passed away. She was 92.According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress revealed, last year, that she had been diagnosed with bone and pancreatic cancer.The two time Tony Award nominee played Woody Allen's Mother in 1971 'Bananas' and featured as his wife on the classic sitcom Car 54, Where Are You?The actress got her first big break with 'Diff'rent Strokes', she played the role of housekeeper Edna Garrett on the show.Rae in her later years, despite of her health issues, guest starred in TV shows including 'Pretty Little Liars', 'Sisters', and 'The King of Queens'. Actor Pankaj Tripathi has come board for Kartik Aaryan-Kriti Sanon starrer "Luka Chuppi" where he will be seen playing an estate agent from Mathura. After Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj is the latest entrant in the Maddock Films backed rom-com. "My character is a man with a different sense of humour and whenever the story gets too complicated, he has some contribution to make," Tripathi said in a statement. "So far, the audience has only seen me playing simple, sober and desi characters. This time you will see me wearing colourful clothes and I even have highlights in my hair," he added. Noted film producer Bhakthavatsala dies, CM condoles
Noted film producer and former chairman of Indian Film Chamber of Commerce M Bhakthavatsala died due to age-related ailments, according to family sources. He was 84. He died at his residence here yesterday, the family sources added. Bhakthavatsala was an officer in Hindustan Machine Tools (HMT) and later turned to films through distribution and managing theatres. He shot to fame by producing Kannada films like 'Sandhyaraga' and 'Samskara' among others. Bhakthavatsala served as president of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce for seven years and was the only Kannadiga to chair the Indian Film Chamber of Commerce. Condoling the death of the noted producer, Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy said the Kannada film industry had lost a great leader.
