With an aim to ensure safety in railways, the Central Railway has come out with an innovative idea of installing visual indicators in local trains to Mumbaikars.Central Railway has installed a blue light visual indicator just above the entrance of one EMU coach for guiding the commuters not to board the running train, at the last moment. The indicator flashes when to stop boarding the train before it becomes unsafe and draws a boundary on the platform which is the minimum clearance level for commuters to avoid accidents while the train is in motion. The device will definitely act as a psychological barrier from boarding the moving train and also as a deterrent to the people. The work of installing the blue light visual indicator was carried out in Kurla car-shed of Central Railway under the guidance of DK Sharma, General Manager, Central Railway.Central Railway would monitor the performance of the new blue light visual indicator and based on the outcome and commuter feedback, a decision .

High taxes, pollution major challenges to yachting in India: Expert

High taxation, lack of infrastructure and rising pollution levels are impeding the growth of yacht tourism in India, an industry expert has pointed out. India has as high as 60 per cent tax on imports of yachts which is discouraging industry players from bringing luxurious boats into the country, Gulu Lalvani, the chairman of Royal Phuket Marina, told visiting Indian journalists on the sidelines of a yacht exhibition here. At the same time, places like Phuket have zero import tax on boats and offer great price advantage to enthusiasts to own yachts at these places instead of importing into India, he explained. The thing about fitness trends is that they fizzle out quickly and are soon replaced by different techniques and methods. An article "Fitness column: Which 2019 fitness trends are untenable?" authored by Paul Robinson published in The Sudbury Star reviewed the 2019 fitness trends and stated that the good ol' 'Bodyweight training' is here to stay and is a great complement to most workouts.Talking about Bodyweight training, Robinson wrote, "Resistance training accomplishes a lot more than I can fit into this small space.
