Fanney Khan, Mulk or Karwan? Who fared better at weekend BO
It seems none of the films that released last Friday - 'Fanney Khan', 'Mulk', 'Karwan' - have succeeded in making an impression on the audiences.According to Box Office India, all the three releases are below the Rs. 10 crore mark for the weekend.Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, 'Fanney Khan' revolves around a father-daughter relationship besides issues like body shaming, and a common man's struggle. The film earned Rs. 6.75 crore in the first weekend, similar to 'Mulk', which revolves around a terror suspect Shahid Mohammed (Prateik Babbar), his father Murad Ali Mohammed (Rishi Kapoor) and the defence lawyer, Aarti Mohammed (Taapsee Pannu).On the other hand, Irrfan Khan's 'Karwaan' has beaten the other two releases by earning Rs. 7.75 crore. Also starring Mithila Palkar and Dulquer Salman, the flick is based on the life of three people from different walks of life who are thrown together on a bizarre journey of finding themselves.

Seeing images of baby animals reduces people's desire for eating meat, according to a study which found that the effect is much stronger for women than for men. Animal rights groups often use images of lambs and calves but there has been little evidence for their effectiveness in their campaigns. Psychologists from Lancaster University and University College London in the UK exposed men and women to images of calves, baby "joey" kangaroos, piglets and lambs and tested whether this affected their desire for meat. "We found that both men and women find baby farmed animals to be cute and vulnerable, and experience feelings of tenderness and warmth towards them," researchers said. However, these positive feelings affect men and women differently, with men experiencing much less reduction in their appetite for meat as a result. What I've learned is that this illness is not something that disappeared or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet."Thanking her fans, family, friends and the Hospital staff, she said, "Without them I wouldn't be here writing this letter to all of you."The 'Sorry Not Sorry' singer said that she needs to focus on sobriety. Hours after the Mughalsarai Railway station was officially renamed as Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Uttar Pradesh minister Om Prakash Rajbhar said that changing names will not lead to development or help train come on time.Rajbhar, who represents the Zahoorabad constituency told ANI, "Changing of names of stations won't lead to trains coming on time.
